Virtual Motion: A One Man Hyper Opera
By David Rodwin

" ... theater has ... new territory to explore ... David Rodwin's solo hyper-opera, Virtual Motion ... "- Brad Rosenstein, SF Bay Guardian

"Strange, beguiling ... moving."- Steven Winn, SF Chronicle

"The strangest show onstage now in San Francisco."

"The whole performance is rhythmically brilliant." - Michael Scott Moore, SF Weekly

Virtual Motion is a one man "hyper-opera"-dynamic movement-driven music theater-by Los Angeles based composer/performer David Rodwin. At its heart, Virtual Motion is a love story. Mike meets Amy (both played by Rodwin), and after a tortured courtship, they finally express their love for each with a death following the epiphany. Rodwin takes this narrative apart and puts it back together again as a fractured mosaic of memories and time.

FoolsFURY brought this compelling piece to San Francisco to complement our ongoing exploration of visceral theatrical exploration that combines movement, music and spectacle.
