Janice Farber

FoolsFURY Board Member / Secretary


Janice Farber has been a member of the foolsFURY Board since 2006. She was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa where she received a B.A. in Clinical & Industrial Psychology, University of the Witwatersrand (WITS), and a Graduate Honors degree in Human Resource Management, Graduate School of Business Administration, WITS. She immigrated to the USA in 1986, lived in Israel from 2001 to 2005 and then returned to the US. 

Professionally, Janice served as Assistant to several Consuls General at the Israeli Consulate in San Francisco from 1986 to 2001, where she was involved in the fields of public affairs, community-building and promoting a strong US-Israel relationship. She is also passionate about patient healthcare advocacy and the performing arts, having enjoyed performing in plays during her middle and high school years. Janice is also a volunteer for Limmud Bay Area, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide Jewish education and cultural services to the San Francisco Bay Area Jewish community.
