We are creating Bold new art, cultivating artists, and breaking the model of ensemble theater to create a better, more equitable future.

To support our 2020 fundraising campaign and to introduce the new era of foolsFURY, we designed a week of programs so you can experience the breadth of the work that we do. From workshops and trainings for theatermakers, panels and discussion for the community, and other programs for you to experience live theater — there is a place for you in our ensemble.
We practice radical inclusivity at foolsFURY. This means our workshops and programs are pay-what-you can. We do not want money to be an obstacle for folks to experience art. Click each video, to watch and listen to the conversations

ABOUT BUILD FROM HERE
This past summer of 2020, we had plans to produce our biennial FURY Factory. However, due to the pandemic we were unable to host the festival. Under the new leadership of Artistic Director, Debórah Eliezer, we shifted our priorities to produce an online conference. We had over 200 people attend and over 3,000 watch the broadcast from all over the world and featuring artists from our planned 2020 pool of festival artists. Our plan for the summer of 2021 is to expand our 8th FURY Factory Festival to include an iteration of BUILD and stream our festival online with more featured artists, programming, and workshops.
BUILD From Here was a two-day long event featuring workshops, artistic presentations, and panels for artists, activists, educators, theater professionals, and anyone committed to building effective and long lasting systemic change. Each program offered tools, resources, and/or dialogues to build a foundation in racial justice, labor and finance reform, design and technology, education, and the stories that are told within the model of ensemble theater.

FoolsFURY Theater is an ensemble theater community of artists, activists and culture makers. For over 21 years, we've been making and producing groundbreaking theater that inspires audiences and artists to reconsider and reconnect with the world around them. We are transforming ourselves into an organization that prioritizes anti-oppression and equity, cultivates spaces for QTBIPOC artists, and centers human relationships above all else. And you are a part of that vision.
