The Library Project (Special Presentation)

hat happens when a seemingly benign ceiling tile falls in a meeting room? As the building of the library deconstructs, so do the long-held beliefs of the librarians that tend to the space.

The Library Project is our upcoming project that has been in development over the past year with Katie Pearl and our ensemble. Part immersive theatrical play and part community engagement project, audiences will be taken on a guided library tour to experience a reimagined future for California.

Holding Space: An Ensemble Workshop Series

In this workshop series, we'll explore the ways we connect to place and to each other. Ensemble theater is about being in relationship with each other, our feelings, our space, and our world. Using a variety of artistic practices and disciplines from meditation, movement, viewpoints, sound, song, poetry, writing, and improvisation we’ll discover moments of theatrical inspiration to facilitate greater awareness, accountability and change for the world in which we wish to live. This series is for the actor, dancer, musician, writer, performing artist, and/or arts enthusiast looking to widen their breadth and build an interdisciplinary approach to their craft.
